Kids won’t get pinched in this plastic sandbox, even though it’s designed to look like a big crab. Its somewhat rounded shape takes up a space that measures 4 by 4 feet (and the inside space measures just over 3 by 3 feet), and it holds up to 300 pounds of play sand. Both the box and the matching sculpted lid (or shell) are molded from single pieces of red plastic. At the front, the big tucked-in claws frame two crabbily prominent white eyes. There’s no drain hole, so be sure to put on that shell when it rains.

I bought this for my 18 month old Grandson. He is little for his age and this sandbox is just perfect for him to obtain in and out of. The only point you have to be careful of may be the lid blowing away in a strong wind.
My three year old loves this sand box! It’s 1 of the larger plastic sand boxes. Cover is great. No water ,leaves of bugs can get in it with the cover on. We love it!
I’ve not received this sandbox for my grandson, yet. I grant you had I noticed the shipping charges this would not have been ordered. I could have driven 12 miles and purchased it without having shipping charges.
We have had our sand box for about 3 years. It stands up to very hot temperatures and the lawn trimmer! It’s very sturdy and the children adore it. I highly recommend it.
I got this for my 3 year old and she loves it! We put it at her grandparent’s house who run a daycare and all of the kids adore it! It’s excellent for much more then 1 child to play in lots of room!
